Picking a faction sets your silhouette, small stat modifiers, and the three-unit mix your Stronghold rolls on every spawn. It does not change the Armory, so no faction has an upgrade another cannot buy.

Each bar is that unit's spawn weight, the share of your wave it tends to take. An Orc wave is 60% frontline and only 15% ranged, so it wins by mass and gate pressure. A Dwarf wave is 50% Sparkblade, with its remaining weight split evenly between Cinder Runners and Ash Bombers. Roles are drawn from frontline, ranged, flanker, striker, support and siege.
These are roster roles, not a promise of current attack range. The production runtime temporarily makes every published fighter close to melee range until the dedicated ranged models and projectile lane are ready.
Identity is carried by a team-coloured ring on the ground under each fighter, never by dyeing the model. That way two commanders can bring the same faction into the same match and still be told apart instantly, and a faction's look never competes with the colour that tells you who is who.
